Traditional Facial vs Technology Facial

You might keep hearing the term laser facial or carbon facial and are wondering what it is?

Until I started working at Black Stone Laser Clinic,* I like you, had no idea what this was.

A facial is a facial...Right?

WRONG...This technology-based facial absolutely blows the generic cleanse, tone, and moisturise routine right out of the water!

It’s important to look after our skin and, in particular, to exfoliate because it removes the barrier of dead skin cells, which clog up the pores that leads to blemishes and acne...and a result-driven moisturiser is essential too. The thing with this is, it is SURFACE stuff, and not really getting deep enough into clearing the problem.

So, I thought I’d tell you why is it different from a regular facial. You might be thinking you have your skincare routine down to a T, but honestly, the difference is the laser! I had my first treatment on a lunch break and left glowing with dewy, supple skin in less than 45 minutes! I couldn't believe it.

After the carbon mask is applied, the laser removes the mask and gets right down inside all those pores, creases, wrinkles as well as on the surface, where the skin has trapped the dirt. As the laser gently resurfaces, the snapping on the surface of the skin awakens collagen and elastin production. Results are instantly visible after just one treatment.

(Collagen is the most plentiful protein in the skin, making up 75-80% of your skin. Collagen and elastin are responsible for warding off wrinkles and fine lines. Over time, the environment and ageing reduce your body’s ability to produce collagen.)

(Elastin: Think elastic. Elastin is found with collagen in the dermis. It’s another protein, responsible for giving structure to your skin and organs. As with collagen, elastin is affected by time and the elements. Lower levels of this protein cause your skin to wrinkle and sag.)

Technology-based facials far outweigh traditional facials. FACT.

What can I say? We are moving with the times, and, after seeing the results, it’s an absolute yes from me!
