For many of us, a lot more time video calling, face timing and zooming has made us more aware of how we look when speaking and connecting virtually. Personally, there is no angle or lighting situation that I haven't scrutinised over. We all want to look our best right? (even if the lower half of the situation consists of perfectly hidden PJ's)

My friends and I have quietly confessed to one another that we have worryingly become obsessed with how our faces look. Pre lockdown, most of us would have whisked our way out of the door wearing our staple makeup looks without giving it another thought. But things have changed. We have been forced to confront ourselves literally face to face while we zoom or team meet on a daily basis. Ordinarily, we would never spend this long concentrating on our faces while we are obliged to watch ourselves on our computer screen. And what we notice, is our very worst features and it's all we can see.

So while convenient beauty solutions done at home give us some temporary relief and a little lift in the thought that we are doing something nice for ourselves, nothing really beats professional, non-surgical aesthetics and treatments...aka THE TWEAKMENT.

FINALLY...

The Omni Hydra Facial

Again we invested heavily last year in the industries most exciting facial system...

The Hydra Facial is a unique and sophisticated facial treatment that combines hydro dermabrasion with a mild chemical peel and is at the forefront of anti-ageing facial treatments. It is a 4-part treatment with unbelievable and instant results. A full consultation is required prior to commencing any treatment to ensure the most effective outcome.

We start the treatment by warming up the collagen under the surface of the skin to around 41 degrees. This begins to "de-nature" the collagen rapidly stimulating and rejuvenating, aiding with the depletion of fine lines and dark circles almost instantly.

We then switch from the thermal hammering head to the dermabrasion tip with a steady flow of hydrogenated water which gently begins to break down the skin cells.

The next part of the treatment uses a rubber tip to gently disperse AHA and BHA acids that break down dirt, debris and grease from the skin.

We finish with the application of a nutrient infusion mask and a purified water mist to quench and rehydrate the skin and to close the pores. The finished result is remarkable...skin looks fresh, renewed, rejuvenated and clear.

The treatment lasts an hour.
