Skin Boosters

Skin boosters are an injectable treatment that are designed to deliver deep skin hydration. They are used to promote a natural glow and radiance as well as plumping the skin.

This is a relatively new treatment concept which has become a lot more popular over the last few years. It particularly appeals to clients who want to look fresh and natural with their anti-ageing treatments.

Skin booster results don’t have the dramatic impact that can be associated with the better-known non-surgical treatments. They don’t ‘freeze’ the features or stop muscle movement (like BOTOX® can) – although, they can help to smooth out lines and wrinkles. They won’t deliver exaggerated or over-inflated results like dermal fillers but they can add more subtle volume by gently plumping the skin.

Skin boosters increase the levels of hyaluronic acid in the skin and also stimulate the production of collagen, which in turn improves fine lines and wrinkles, producing firmer skin. Skin boosters form the basis of bringing integrity back to the condition of the skin. Skin boosters can be used to treat many different skin areas. The most common is the face, followed by the neck, décolletage, and dorsum of the hands.

Skin boosters...

  • hydrate and condition

  • plump and smooth depressions in the skin

  • improve complexion, tone, and texture

  • improve the appearance of rough, dry skin

  • help to smooth fine lines and wrinkles

Profhilo

Profhilo is a miracle skin booster. Hailed as a bio-remodelling innovation, Profhilo features the highest level of concentrated hyaluronic acid on the market. It stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, key proteins for full, smooth, wrinkle-free skin. Elastin fibres become more susceptible to wear and tear as we age and the production of collagen naturally slows down, so this simple procedure can not only help to slow down the signs of ageing but help to protect against it too.

Infini

Infini is another popular brand of HA filler for ultimate hydration. It is less viscous than Profhilo with more subtle results. It has the same stimulating properties for collagen production as well as inducing key proteins for smoother more supple skin.

Micro-needling

Micro-needling is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure that uses small sterilised needles to puncture the surface of the skin.

The purpose of this treatment is to generate new collagen and skin tissue. By puncturing the surface of the skin, the body's natural response system sends PRP (plasma-rich platelets) to heal the small wounds made by the needles. In turn, this process stimulates collagen and tightens the skin.

With this treatment, we use a cocktail of medical-grade peptides, vitamins, and hyaluronic acid with the micro-needling technique for amazing results every time.

This treatment is perfect for correcting skin conditions such as hyperpigmentation, enlarged pores, and acne scarring and reducing signs of ageing such as wrinkles, fine lines, lax skin, and crepe skin.
