An Autumn Gathering: A Little Space to Come Home to Yourself

As November arrives, the trees loosen their hold on the last golden leaves, the evenings draw closer, and the world begins its slow retreat towards winter.

There is something tender about this time of year. Autumn invites us to pause, notice what we are carrying, and consider what we might be ready to put down.

On Sunday 1st November, I invite you to join me at NU-U LAB for a women’s circle inspired by this season of change. A gentle gathering where you can step away from everyday demands, take a deeper breath, and spend a little time listening to yourself.

So many of us spend our days caring, organising, working and holding things together. Even our rest can become another task to get right. My hope is that this circle offers you somewhere to arrive exactly as you are—tired, happy, uncertain, hopeful, or a little of everything. You don’t need to feel calm before you come. You don’t need to have the words.

What to expect

Over approximately two hours, we will move gently through simple rituals that honour the season and create space for reflection and connection.

We will settle into the circle, unwind, share ceremonial cacao, and explore autumn themes through readings, oracle cards and journalling. There will be gentle movement to ease us out of our busy heads and back into our bodies, alongside calming breath-work, guided meditation and restful yoga nidra.

There will also be an invitation to share, if you wish. Sharing is always optional. Listening quietly is an equally welcome way to take part, and you can choose what feels comfortable throughout.

Our reflections will centre on what autumn can teach us: recognising what has nourished us, acknowledging what has become heavy, and making room for our changing needs. Letting go doesn’t have to be a grand gesture. Sometimes it begins with allowing ourselves an evening of rest, softening an expectation, or admitting that we need support.

You need no experience of women’s circles, meditation or journalling. Come with curiosity, in comfortable clothes, and let yourself be held by the simple pleasure of gathering with other women.

I would love you to leave feeling a little more grounded, a little more connected, and with something kind to carry into the weeks ahead.
