A BIG THANK YOU - FROM NU-U
The end of the year is always so significant, as we draw a line under the year that has passed, and start our hopes and dreams for the new year moving forward.
For myself personally, I find December is always a time for reflection. After a crazy 2022, I have to admit that I am genuinely looking forward to a calm, peaceful, nurturing and profitable 2023.
This has been a huge year for me personally and professionally. I have drawn new boundaries with people and friends, as well as for my business. I have lost a couple of friends along the way, but as sad as this was at the time.. I knew that in order to move on personally.and professionally... things had to be said and done. Last year was definitely been the start of something bigger for me as a woman in business, and many many lessons have been learned on this journey.
After a hectic start to 2022 with the relocation of NU-U from the Old Town Hall to Albert Street, I have had little time to think about what has been going on as we had to hit the ground running, working across 2 sites. The year has unfolded in unexpected ways however I am a big believer in "holding the vision and trusting the process" We don't always know what is in store for us or why things are happening, but universally there is always a much bigger picture. Holding your nerve and keeping things real is all you can do at times to keep pushing forward.
So that is what I have done.
I have always taken pride in creating a unique business here at NU-U. Our journey with our clients is one that we are exceptionally proud of here. The countless hours of research, training and investments in outstanding lasers and equipment enables us to provide the right support and an excellent service to client's on their journey with us, whether it be laser hair or a course of treatment relating to menopause!! We understand and nurture each and every woman's journey with us.
2023 is a year of investment in education - teaching - and our level 7 qualifications in advanced aesthetics. Again benchmarking ourselves with the best of the best in this highly competitive industry.... Laser and aesthetics is our passion and we do this day in day out - our 7th year in business this year!
I am also so excited to be quietly working away on our next HOT GOSSIP WOMEN IN BUSINESS NETWORKING EVENT. (FRIDAY 17TH FEB - STAY TUNED!!) My other passion is connecting and reconnecting great women in business, who share a passion for kindness, respect love and support of other women in business.. IN THE GREAT WORDS OF GLORIA STEINEM - "ITS THE HEART OF EACH OF US THAT GIVES POWER TO THE SUM OF US."
Finally, now that we are in the very first few days of a new year - 2023, I really wanted to reflect on the positive and the kindness, love and support my business and I have been shown. Not just from my amazing team of women here at the clinic... but from clients and friends ... and to those clients who have become friends. Not forgetting my family!
Without their love and support, this would be an even tougher journey. They have paved the way for light, fun love and lots of laughter and kindness.
So I say a HUGE HUGE THANK YOU from the absolute bottom of my heart... THANK YOU... TO ALL OF YOU ... You all know who you are xx
