The Writing On Her Wall

It's been quite some time since I did a blog for the website. To be honest, we have been so busy at the clinic I just haven't had time.

I have been stacking up ideas and jotting things down, but the weeks just seem to roll by. It is so easy to let things slide, prioritising life and work over pleasure. I get so much joy from writing my blogs and researching content, but it's time-consuming and requires thought and creativity. For any writers/bloggers out there you will know just how much dedication is required to keep on going. This is a conversation our website editor Elaine and I have been having for a couple of years now!

So, imagine my surprise when, out of the blue, I received the first of many blog post stories that Lainey is writing on her new Substack entitled "Why We Met." Not only was I shocked, but I was also equally delighted to read about her turning her dating disasters into hilarious content.

We have all been there...RIGHT? Failed relationships, dating disasters... it's a part of our life's tapestry, but to read someone's pain turned into really amusing and extremely well-written stories...that's just genius.

As summer draws to a close and the dark nights are already setting in, the NU-U girls and I are waiting with bated breath for the next blog to be revealed. It's as torturous as waiting for the next SATC, "And Just Like That" episode!

I won't tell you any more than this. All I will say is...ladies, get reading. Funny, heartfelt, and insightful.
